We have a great pleasure to invite you to the educational project called ‘Polish Film Academy’ – a two-year course of the history of Polish cinema. We meet once a week, on Mondays, at 5 p.m. in Cinema Kinematograf at Film Museum in Lodz.

On November 28, an exhibition devoted to the Moomins was opened in Tokyo. It exhibits, among others, puppets, stills and posters provided by the Film Museum. The exhibition will also be on display in Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto.

A present from the Film Museum for all cinema fans on St. Nicholas Day. From the 6th of December we are again able to enjoy the beauty of the historical, perfectly renovated photoplasticon!

We already know the winners of this year’s Media Festival “Man in Danger”. Grand Prix – the Award of the City of Łódź and the White Cobra statuette went to Aniela Gabryel.

On Thursday, 14th of September, we screened “Wild Strawberries” by Ingmar Bergman from the film tape.

The leitmotif of the Night of Museums at the Film Museum will be the work of Juliusz Machulski. We invite you to the Museum on the 20th of May from 6 PM to 1 AM. 

Little Cinematograph provides activities for children, over 3, who watch and observe, sightsee and investigate, paint and make cut-outs, construct and tell stories.
