Antoni Szram, the first director of the Film Museum, an art historian, a long-term Chairperson of the Lodz division of the Association of Art Historians (Stowarzyszenie Historyków Sztuki) and the City Monuments Conservator, received on 24 September 2015 – during an official inauguration of a new cultural season – the Award of the Mayor of the City of Lodz in the arts, preservation and promotion of culture.
